About Eagles Nest Woolens
Caroline and Ron started their hooking adventure 10 years ago. First learning at the local library, they were taught to pull loops but knew there was more to learn. Caroline started searching for teachers and soon was organizing classes to learn how to dye wool. Once they started hooking they never looked back.
Eagles Nest opened in the winter of 2011, and carries a large selection of patterns, wool, backings, hooks, and just about everything you may need to hook your own treasured rugs. Eagles Nest Woolens is located in Keedysville Maryland. This area is not only beautiful but full of history, located only minutes from the Antietam Battlefield National Park. Caroline and Ron live in a hand hewed log home along with their beloved beagles Otis and Maple. Ron has lovingly converted their attic into a beautiful studio.
All fiber artists are welcome, whether you are experienced or just beginning. Classes are offered and color planning is also available. We hope to see you soon.
